How it Works

Dogs can be exposed to worms at any time during their life, so it’s important to have confidence your dog's worm protection is working.

Interceptor® Plus (milbemycin oxime/praziquantel) Combines Two Powerful Ingredients

Interceptor Plus has two active ingredients. Milbemycin oxime is an effective way to prevent heartworm disease in dogs, as well as treat and control adult hookworm, roundworm and whipworm infections in dogs. While, praziquantel, the other active ingredient in Interceptor Plus has demonstrated 100% efficacy in controlled studies against 4 species of adult tapeworms: Taenia pisiformis, Echinococcus multilocularis, Echinococcus granulosus and Dipylidium caninum1.
